DANIELE DAMINELLI

Daniele Daminelli
DESIGNER · SERIES 355

Daniele Daminelli is an Italian interior and product designer and founder of Studio 2046. After studying at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan and working at Dimorestudio, he established his own studio in Treviglio in 2017.

Through Studio 2046, Daminelli creates spaces and objects that explore the relationship between past and future. Asian cinema, fashion and European Baroque art are among his key sources of inspiration. His designs are characterised by carefully balanced colours, materials and proportions – creating an atmosphere that evokes nostalgia while looking towards the future.

Daniele Daminelli approaches design as a dialogue between eras, cultures and design traditions. The internationally renowned AD100 designer combines historical references with a contemporary, architecturally influenced design language. His work emerges from the deliberate interplay of diverse influences, resulting in a distinctive and unmistakable character.

For Steinberg, Daminelli reinterpreted the existing Series 350 to create Series 355. At the heart of the design is a handle inspired by architectural hardware. A design that draws on the familiar, shifts its perspective and gives the collection an identity of its own.
