4) Cookies
To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies—small text files that are stored on your device. Some of these cookies are deleted automatically after you close your browser (so-called “session cookies”), while others remain stored longer and allow your settings to be saved (so-called “persistent cookies”). The duration of storage for persistent cookies can be found in your browser’s cookie settings overview.
Where cookies are used to process personal data, processing takes place based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance), Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).
You can configure your browser to notify you about cookies, allow cookies on a case-by-case basis, reject cookies for certain cases or in general.
Please note that the functionality of our website may be limited if cookies are not accepted.

5) Contacting Us
When contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email), personal data is collected. The type of data collected can be seen from the respective contact form. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and for the associated technical administration.
The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your contact aims to conclude a contract, an additional legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Your data will be deleted once your inquiry has been finally answered, provided no legal retention obligations prevent this.

6) Web Analytics Services
6.1 Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), which allows analysis of your use of our website.
By default, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies when you visit the website. These are small text files placed on your device that collect certain information. This includes your IP address, which is, however, truncated by Google to exclude direct personal identification.
The information is transferred to Google servers and processed there. Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA.
Google uses this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted and truncated by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
Data collected through Google Analytics 4 is stored for two months and then deleted.
All the above-described processing, including the setting of cookies, is carried out only if you have given us your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Without your consent, Google Analytics 4 will not be used during your visit. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating the service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" on our website.
We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google to ensure protection and to prohibit unauthorized third-party disclosure.
Legal details on Google Analytics 4:

Demographic Characteristics
Google Analytics 4 includes the feature "demographic characteristics" and can generate statistics about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors based on advertising and third-party information. This helps identify target audiences for marketing. The data cannot be assigned to a specific person and is deleted after two months.

Google Signals
As an extension of Google Analytics 4, Google Signals may be used on this website to create cross-device reports. If you have enabled personalized ads and linked your devices to your Google account, Google may analyze your usage behavior across devices and create database models, including for cross-device conversions—provided you have consented to the use of Google Analytics as per Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
We do not receive personal data from Google—only statistics.
To disable cross-device analysis, deactivate "Personalized Ads" in your Google Account settings: https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=en

UserIDs
Also as an extension to Google Analytics 4, this site may use the "UserIDs" function. If you have consented under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, created an account, and logged in on different devices, your activity, including conversions, can be analyzed across devices.
Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, ensuring compliance with European data protection levels.

6.2 Google Tag Manager
This website uses the “Google Tag Manager” from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Tag Manager enables us to manage and trigger various web applications, including tracking and analytics services, through a unified interface. The Tag Manager itself does not store or access data on user devices and does not conduct its own analysis.
However, it transmits your IP address to Google, which may be stored. Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA.
This only occurs with your explicit consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without consent, the Tag Manager will not be used.
You can withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie Consent Tool.”
We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google.
Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

7) Retargeting/Remarketing and Conversion Tracking
Google Ads Remarketing
This website uses retargeting technology provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.
Google places a cookie in your browser to enable interest-based advertising via a pseudonymous cookie ID, based on pages you visited.
Further data processing only occurs if you’ve agreed to have your browsing data linked to your Google account for personalized advertising.
If logged into your Google account during your visit, Google merges the data with Analytics to build target groups for cross-device remarketing.
In this context, personal data may be transferred to Google LLC servers in the USA.
All of the above processing occurs only with your explicit consent per Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie Consent Tool.
Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8) Tools and Miscellaneous
Cookie Consent Tool
This website uses a "Cookie Consent Tool" to obtain valid user consent for cookies and cookie-based services.
The tool displays an interactive interface on first page load, allowing consent for specific services via checkbox. Only after consent is granted are corresponding cookies activated.
Technically necessary cookies are used to store your preferences.
Generally, no personal data is processed. If personal data (e.g., IP address) is processed for logging consent settings, this is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for legal compliance.
Additionally, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR applies since we are legally obliged to obtain such consent.
If necessary, we have signed a data processing agreement with the provider.
More info on the provider and settings can be found in the consent tool interface on our site.

IF WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA BASED ON OUR LEGITIMATE INTERESTS, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THIS PROCESSING AT ANY TIME FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION.
IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL CEASE PROCESSING THE DATA UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS THAT OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS, AND FREEDOMS, OR IF PROCESSING SERVES TO ESTABLISH, EXERCISE, OR DEFEND LEGAL CLAIMS.
IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU MAY OBJECT TO SUCH PROCESSING AT ANY TIME.
IF YOU EXERCISE THIS RIGHT, WE WILL IMMEDIATELY CEASE PROCESSING FOR MARKETING PURPOSES.

10) Duration of Storage of Personal Data
The duration of personal data storage depends on the legal basis, purpose of processing, and—if applicable—statutory retention periods.

  • If processing is based on consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), data is stored until consent is revoked.

  • If retention obligations apply (e.g., under tax or commercial law) for contract-related data (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), the data will be deleted once these periods expire, unless needed for contract performance or justified interests.

  • For data processed under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, it is stored until you object under Art. 21(1) GDPR, unless overriding interests or legal claims apply.
