Design is movement – Steinberg continues to develop the successful 230 series

How design standards become the benchmark

Good design thrives on a willingness to evolve. At Steinberg, success doesn't mean stagnation, but rather a commitment to continually re-examine the status quo. It's precisely this commitment that has led to the redesign of the proven 230 faucet series – not because it was necessary, but because it's possible.

"Whenever we identify potential for further design development, we embrace it – regardless of how established a product already is," explains Johannes Löhnert. The new design language of the 230 Series expresses the brand's DNA even more precisely: clear lines, finely balanced proportions, and an even more confident presence in the room.

The redesign of the series represents Steinberg's consistent design approach. Transitions have been rethought, details sharpened, and the overall appearance subtly refined. Thus, the series remains true to its origins – while simultaneously appearing more decisive, more contemporary, and more precise.

"For us, design is an active process—not a one-time decision," says Johannes Löhnert, Managing Director of Steinberg. "We believe that excellence comes from attention. And that every product deserves the chance to continue to grow with us."

With the further development of the 230 series, Steinberg demonstrates what defines the brand: a desire to design, consistency in form and an uncompromising commitment to quality – driven by the goal of creating design solutions that will last for years.

Since its founding in 2002, Steinberg has stood for high-quality designer fittings "Made in Germany" as a family-owned company. Led by brothers Marcus and Johannes Löhnert, the medium-sized company based in Düsseldorf combines a strong design philosophy with technical precision.

Steinberg does not see bathroom design as a short-lived reaction to trends, but rather as an expression of a personal lifestyle – minimalist, functional, and of lasting value. With this philosophy, the company has won numerous international design awards and secured a firm place in the world of sophisticated interior design. A clear design language that does not need to be loud to make an impact – this is what Steinberg stands for. And for the belief that true distinction begins where trust is placed in the essentials.
