With a spectacular appearance at ISH 2025, Steinberg impressively demonstrated how trade fairs can be conceived today: not as a mere product presentation, but as an aesthetic statement. Several polyresin tubs dramatically staged with light, an oversized AI-generated portrait in the style of Dutch Baroque painting, and a peacock motif in a colonial jungle style – this interplay of art, technology, and design magically attracted visitors.
"For us, a trade fair presence is more than a presentation—it's a statement," explains Daniela Wagner, Marketing Director at Steinberg. "Our presentation reflected our passion for flawless design and innovative materials—in a way that touches, surprises, and inspires."
The stand itself was a manifesto of sophisticated elegance: anthracite-colored walls framed crisp, white LED display surfaces – a stage on which the products could unfold like works of art. Materials such as polyresin, marble, and dark pearl were not only displayed, but also truly showcased. A particular eye-catcher: the polyresin tubs, backlit by large LED walls. The white light not only emphasized their shape but also caused the colored pigments in the surface to glow – an effect that gave them an almost sculptural aura.
Presentation cubes made of green Verde Alpi marble added special accents. Their natural grain created a fascinating dialogue with the design series in Steinberg's surface finishes – including the new Brushed Gold, Brushed Gun Metal, and Brushed Copper. The interplay of light, material, and color lent the space an atmosphere of timeless elegance.
The design, however, went beyond pure product design: The oversized, AI-generated portrait of a young woman, reminiscent of classical 17th-century portraiture, lent the room a quiet, almost poetic depth. This contrasted with the opulent peacock motif on the back wall—a homage to the lush imagery of colonial murals, here reimagined in a modern context.
"Our design concept deliberately avoided superfluous elements," Wagner continues. "The art of reduction was our guiding principle – every element had a clear function. This allowed us to convey the essence of our brand: an uncompromising combination of functionality and beauty."
What remained was a presence that was more than just a trade fair—a gallery of bathroom design, a moment of art amidst the hustle and bustle of the trade fair. A place where visitors paused, marveled, and took photographs.
With this presentation, Steinberg set a clear example for the future of the bathroom: minimalist, avant-garde, luxurious – and unmistakably Steinberg.

Steinberg does not see bathroom design as a short-lived reaction to
trends, but rather as an expression of a personal lifestyle –
minimalist, functional, and of lasting value. With this philosophy, the
company has won numerous international design awards and secured a firm
place in the world of sophisticated interior design. A clear design
language that does not need to be loud to make an impact – this is what
Steinberg stands for. And for the belief that true distinction begins
where trust is placed in the essentials.
